29.04.2008 - adicom Graphical Pegboard Awarded Industry Prize 2008
The adicom Graphical Pegboard solution has once again been awarded the “Industriepreis 2008” by the Initiative Mittelstand [SME Initiative]. The solution impressed the jury in the “Software” category due to its proven suitability for SMEs and high integration ability.
“The repeated commendation of the adicom Software Suite reflects the positive response that the solution has received in SMEs. Now more than ever before, companies are required to map their business processes comprehensively. For this reason, if they close the gap between their production halls and commercial planning departments, they will be able to manufacture on time and meet the challenges of international competition on a long term basis,” explains Michael Fichtner, Managing Director of Freudenberg IT.
With this module the technicians in production can schedule staff members in the various divisions and production lines based on their qualifications and order volumes. Every single member of staff in production can also use the prize winning solution as an information tool. It offers a day to day overview of all assigned workstations and planned work orders. The secure two way transfer of necessary master and transaction data between the SAP system and the adicom Software Suite takes into account all corrections and short term changes across all production sites and features a high degree of production line accuracy.
Since recently, the adicom Graphical Pegboard has also been available as a preconfigured MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) package. The package solution is tailored to the requirements of SMEs and can be implemented quickly. Furthermore it is a secure investment. The features of the integrated solution can be extended at any time by adding other Adicom modules. The package includes licenses, installation, and user training.
The Initiative Mittelstand (SME Initiative), run by the Huber Verlag für Neue Medien, awarded the Industry Prize to the most innovative products and solutions from the industry for the third time in 2008. An independent jury made up of professors, scientists, technical editors, and specialists from the sector assessed all of the products and solutions submitted.
