11.09.2008 - MES Solution adicom Software Suite Reaches Switzerland
Noser Engineering AG, Switzerland’s leading IT provider for computer engineering, and the full service IT provider Freudenberg IT (FIT) have formed a sales partnership. The purpose of their cooperation is to sell and implement Freudenberg IT’s MES solution (Manufacturing Execution System) adicom Software Suite in Switzerland. In particular, small and medium sized companies from the general industry, commerce, and process industry sectors are to be approached.
As an experienced software service provider, Noser Engineering has been implementing customized, comprehensive IT solutions for companies in Switzerland for more than 20 years. These range from mobile solutions and associated applications to hardware related, real time control systems for complex production plants. Initially, Noser Engineering will focus on the adicom Software Suite’s Shop Floor Data Collection (SFDC) module. It is anticipated that the partnership will subsequently be extended to include further modules (Machine Data Collection, Advanced Planning and Scheduling, and Graphical Pegboard).
Shop Floor Data Collection enables companies to consistently optimize their production processes and increase their transparency. It offers localized access to current planning data, so that planning alternatives can be simulated and compared with one another. Any number of scenarios can be stored. In the event of a production change, international companies can select the appropriate scenario and immediately apply it to production as the new production plan. In this way, they can plan more reliably in the long term and deliver to customers on time.
